Hi, I’d like to welcome you to Grants Pass VIP, I’m Brian Pombo.
So what is Grants Pass VIP?
Well, it’s a chance for us to get to know each other.
So everybody in Josephine County, and Grants Pass and even a lot of people on the outskirts or people that just have something to do with Grants Pass and the culture around here. I want them to be able to be on the show so that we can all get to know each other.
I’ve never really been able to get out and network enough. And I just feel that there’s a need for this type of thing where a person could network without leaving their house, especially now this is 2020.
While I’m recording this, we’re still dealing with the COVID-19 epidemic and a lot of people are held up so why not have a way where we can get out and talk to each other and learn about each other and be able to do it in a passive way.
There’s a lot of reasons for this.
One, I know that the more people that you know, the better off you are just in general, it opens up doors, it allows for a certain amount of security. It allows you to be able to stand out and be able to go out and reach somebody to get the help you need.
Let’s see you here’s somebody on the show that provides a service that you can really use when you feel like you already know them because you’ve heard a conversation that we had on the show.
So this is really all about conversations.
It’s about breaking down barriers, and getting to know each other. And I think that’ll make us all a whole lot safer too, because it reduces the divisiveness that I’ve seen kind of crop up in politics and everything else around the community.
And most of it comes from people just not knowing each other very well.
The people that know each other even when they disagree about things. They usually get along. They can least handle each other on a one on one human basis. Right.
So Grants Pass is a beautiful area. I chose it specifically to raise my family here. I feel very blessed to be here and I look forward to meeting so many of you out there and hopefully we could make this into something really fabulous.
